It's that time again
Sep. 22nd, 2010 12:48 pmSince I'm busy shooting for The Job today and can't even begin to organize my thoughts into a coherent post, it's time for PICSPAM:

I thought her eyes were poppin' in quite a few shots I got during the session, but this one jumped out at me the most, in that regard. I'm still debating a bit as to whether I like the curves adjustment I applied to this, but so far, I'm into it.
In other news, by some bizarre twist of fate, I am unexpectedly free this evening. I suspect my activities will involve home-cooked dinner, Netflix, and/or XBox360.
AND! I'm off to the races again.

Date: 2010-09-24 03:47 pm (UTC)The girl in this photo:
http://www.facebook.com/khamphaphotography#!/photo.php?pid=4835424&id=99506290981&ref=fbx_album
has a similar facial structure and expression, but because of her posture and where she is looking the photo comes across as benign.
This girl:

is sitting in a similar position, but the slight raised corner of the mouth combined with the lighting and her hair put the focus on her eyes rather than her jaw, which makes her look empty rather than angry.
When I look at your photo, the first thing I see is the eyes. Then, the lines from her nose draw my eye down to her mouth and her jaw. In the second link, the hands then draw attention, but in this one, my eyes end up resting on her mouth and jaw, which then causes my mind to wonder why she has that expression. Then the slumped shoulders come into play. I then make up a backstory of an angry woman raised in an abusive household. If I cover up her chin, all that goes away.
