Well, yesterday didn't go quite the way I'd hoped, but it was still pretty excellent. I biked along the river for a bit and snapped a few photos, and then pedaled all over town until I started to get hungry. I was biking up Burnside and remembered that [livejournal.com profile] veiravx lived close to where I was, so I bugged her about meeting up somewhere.

Several hours, one dinner, one snack, and two beers later, we'd had ourselves a pretty awesome chat. Ah, good times.

This week isn't looking too bad, and that's good, because HOLY CRAP PARTY ON SATURDAY. It feels like there's a lot I probably need to get done between now and then, but I don't know how likely it is, so prioritizing is going to be a big deal. I figure that as long as I have my costume, the house is clean and decorated, and people are fed and happy, I'll be happy.

BTW, I know several of you have offered to come early and help set up, and you are AWESOME. I'm really, really grateful for that. I'll probably be spending most of the day cleaning, tidying, setting up photobooth, and getting things in order, so I figure anytime after ~3:00pm on Saturday, I'll probably be home and working on things, so just drop in whenever's convenient.

Also, I do have one final request for help: Would anyone be willing to bring over some version of Rock Band? I'm not sure if I'll be able to acquire it before the party, and I'd really love to have that going in one room. I would be eternally grateful!

Okay, I have much work to do, so I'm off.

I have Guitar Hero World Tour, so if you can't get rock band I could bring that. I have just one guitar though so you'd have to convince someone to bring another for a full band. Also, you'd have to convince someone to come get me since I don't think I could take the band set on the bus.

I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stay (I'm an old man, y'know), and I often have reservations about being the guy who ruins everyone's fun by taking off with some of the party equipment early in the night. But some Rock Band is better than no Rock Band, so unless someone else pipes up, you can count on me to haul my equipment over.

I do believe I have it covered; my homeboy Travis lives a lot closer to my place, so it's probably easier to have him bring it, than to have you haul it from the other side of town. :)

Thanks SO much for offering, though. I appreciate it times a billion!
