Oh, MAN. It's looking like the next couple months are going to ROCK SOCKS.

I'll be judging at Wushu Collegiates on March 6th, since it's in Eugene at the UO and my remaining kids there kind of arm-wrestled me into it. I told them I'd do it as long as I don't have to judge nandu, heh. This will likely be followed by a raging after-party, which will probably result in me either dancing my ass off, or standing around chewing the fat with my fellow old farts. (and that's "old farts" in Wushu terms, which basically means anyone over 25)

It's possible that I'll be doing Vegas-on-the-cheap on the 7th-9th, because Alyson and Carolyn are spearheading a trip there. I don't have anything in particular that I want to DO in Vegas--especially now that the Star Trek Experience closed down, haha--but it'll be awesome to get out of town with some lady pals and experience a new place. And I expect there'll be some pretty excellent people-watching for me and my camera.

And then, there is a possible trip to Eastern Oregon for several days around the weekend of March 20th. The last time I was in any eastern part of Oregon was when I was 12, and Ma and I had to drive through Pendleton because we were moving here from back East. So this should also be interesting, too, and big trips with this group of folks are ALWAYS fun.

And THEN, I'll be heading down to CA around the 18th-22nd of April, because my grandpa is turning 80 this year. And a mere five days before I turn 30! ::shudder:: Seriously, though, my grandpa is cool and deserves more of my time, so what better excuse than this?

And, finally, there is my soon-to-be-planned, Holy-Crap-I'm-Old 30th Birthday Extravaganza. But that should be a separate post.

Go see some shows in vegas- you can get the half price tickets and such. It's totally worth it!

Yay Vegas! My Batchelorette Weekend was there... which consisted of just me and my Maid Of Honor wandering around watching free shows, going to cabarets, and seeing Cirque Du Soleil. We didn't gamble a single penny, and had one alcoholic drink per, and still had a blast.


Yay Extravanganza! You know I'm already in on the planning of this one. :D

YES! I think I may start a Google Wave thread soon for planning purposes, since that appears to be the main thing Wave is actually good for. Do you have it yet? (if not, I have 80 hojillion invites)

Looks like the ST Experience is actually set to re-open sometime in 2010... probably not before you are there, though.

Heh, yeah, I checked on that, and word is they haven't begun any construction or setup at the new location, so I doubt they'd be able to bang it out in less than a month. :)

Maybe they'll just truck in a holodeck and program it to show the museum. Maybe the functioning holodeck museum will feature a *non-working* holodeck. That would be worth the price of admission, I tell ya.

I could do it any number of ways, and I'm not at all married to the Google Wave thing. Maybe I could get people together to throw around ideas, too... it'd be a good excuse to get together for drinks or somesuch. :)
