I never like to belabor the point on celebrity deaths, so here is my chosen tribute* to Brittany Murphy:

* I never understood King Of The Hill until lived with two self-proclaimed nerds who grew up immersed in redneck culture, and then escaped it and went to college. Since then, it has become frickin' genius. Heh.

I always loved King of the Hill because OH MY GOD it's everyone I went to high school with and their parents. All of them.

It's also weird that apparently have 3 friends who either met her or worked with her (Megan met her!). Apparently the overwhelming word everyone uses is "sweet" to the point where E! wrote an article about it.

Yeah my first thought was "Oh no, Luanne!!" when I heard!
I met her once in NYC when she was shooting something - she's very tiny and sweet and waved and said "hey!!" to everyone. So sad!
