Accomplishment!
Oct. 21st, 2009 03:43 pmI started feeling better mentally before I started feeling better physically, so the last couple days seemed like a good time to do some long-overdue work on the ol' photography web site.
One result of that: We now have a new homepage with a fancy-schmancy slideshow! Yeah, I know, I resisted the whole slideshow thing for a long time, but it really is the easiest way to show the breadth of our work. AND there is no annoying sappy music to accompany said slideshow. I also built in a mini-feed of our blog, and added in our social networking links, yay. I can tell that I'm much happier with the site than before, because I keep loading up the page to admire it, hahaha. XD
The interior pages are improved, too. I also might have a copywriter willing to help us with tightening up the copy, because LORD do I get wordy sometimes. Hopefully I'll hear something from them soon.
Today hasn't been too bad. I'm making Mexican Baked Eggs for dinner tonight, and possibly making an attempt at no-sugar banana bread. There are some bananas at home that are ripe (hurhurhur) for the baking, and if the bananas are ripe enough, do you really need the extra sugar? :)
