If running keeps going as well as it's gone the past few days, it might become my new fitness drug. Good thing, too, because I sorely need one. I did 2.5 miles yesterday and 3 miles today, and I have to admit I'm proud. There were some hills on today's route, and I beat the hell out of them. :D Running outside is so awesome compared to the stupid treadmill. I need to quit being a wussy about weather and just run outside.

I've been working my butt off by day, coughing and not sleeping at night, and generally feeling as though my life is not my own. I had two weddings to shoot this past weekend, one of them running almost 9 hours (!), and I couldn't even go to my wushu classes, because they conflicted with the weddings.

Combine that with *really* not wanting to deal with large groups of people--traveling in a group of 18 people for two weeks does that to you, I guess--and I damn near thought I was going to lose my mind.

The weddings did turn out beautifully, though, and in spite of being so tired while shooting them, I *am* looking forward to picking out shots for the blog. :) The one on Saturday was held in this amaaazing church--the courtyard wasn't anywhere near as attractive as I was led to believe, but the interior of the sanctuary was just amazing. I think the church director was close to flipping out, because everything was running late and all the guests-with-cameras were breaking the church's photography restrictions, but all things said, it could've been worse.

Running, though, has been better for my psyche than anything, since I got back. I almost feel in control again.

And I TOTALLY slept until noon yesterday, and caught up on TV. So, I feel tons better just because of that. :D

Awesome. I'm really glad you're loving running. I gotta ask, though... (totally personal question the you can delete if you want)... what do you do with the "girls"? Have you found a sports bra that actually works?

I hate running. Hatehatehate. But I should get a good work-out bra anyway. So inquiring minds want to know. :}

ALSO! HUGS! YOU'RE BACK!!! Hehehe. I don't know if I expressed my excitement properly last week.

I will chime in on an answer for this too. I use two sports bra's if I am going for a longer run, and I hated running until I got a decent one :D

REI Outlet online has some cheap sports bras (sometimes) Moving Comfort is comfy, Sugoi (I think is the brand) are very, very supportive. So while I feel silly using two sometimes it really helps.

I think the Sugoi one listed and the Maia Moving Comfort would be your best bets. Sugoi is high impact, Maia looks like mid-high impact. Combined your girls would be suffocated and comfy.

Also, if all else fails, duct tape!

Eh, I have these ones my mom got on sale, they're Champion brand, and I think they were billed as some kind of ultra-supportive type. I don't really remember exactly, but the tag mentioned there being various levels of support, and this one being the most supportive of them all.

Basically the thing pretty much flattens the holy hell out of my chest, so body-flatteringness level is approximately zero, but at least running and jumping doesn't hurt! I'm not super-sensitive, though, so YMMV.

HUGS! I finally feel free enough to enjoy being back, heh :D I owe you some time, and soon!

So fantastic about the running! 3 miles!!! That's huge! That's about all I can ever take. I'm a terrible runner. But it's sooo good for you.
I'm glad the wedding turned out so well too. You'll have to show us some of the pics if you're allowed to. <3

Yeah, I've never been a natural at running, either; I usually do around 3 miles and it always feels like an achievement, haha. XD I'm just surprised at how much I *don't* hurt right now, because usually I do awful when I come back to running after not doing it for a while.

And yeah, I'll definitely get some wedding shots up soon :) There are tons to go through!

I hate running the first 10-15 minutes but once I push though that I find it really enjoyable.
