I have somehow wound up with three options for this Saturday, which are not mutually exclusive:

1) Pedalpalooza Party/World Naked Bike Ride. I'm one of those modest people, so I would not be biking naked, but I could always bike in a bathing suit or somesuch. And the dance party bit sounds fun, at least. I definitely don't want to go by myself, though, because that would be boring. Anyone want to join?

2) [livejournal.com profile] rmalena's party, which is yay! I only hesitate because my ex may be there, and I'm pretty sure his wife still hates me. I'm not sure that I currently have the emotional bandwidth to wrestle with interactions at such a high level of awkwardness. But, on the other hand, all that drama happened over 10 years ago, and if we can't get over ourselves by this point, then we suck and Rich deserves better friends than us. :p

3) This fashion show, which includes some designers I know. I'm pretty sure nobody would want to go with me to this, though, and I'd also rather keep the $10, so this option is at the bottom of the list. (honestly, most of the fashion shows I've been to were boring, aside from the 15 minutes or so where they actually show neat clothes)

Anyhoo, if anyone wants to do #1 or #3, let me know. I'd love some company :) OR, if there's something else going on, hit me with that, too!

In other news, I got a voicemail late yesterday evening from LA Fitness! :O I'm not quite sure what to say to them when I call back, though, because the guy on the phone mentioned that they're hiring "managers" right now. Obviously, I didn't apply for that position, and I'm not terribly interested in being a general manager, either! Maybe that was just an oversight on their part? Or maybe they're just putting me in with manager applicants because I'm not certified yet... I have no freakin' idea. Oh well, I'll figure it out.

Speaking of training, yesterday was Day 1 of Making The Cut, and it was HARD. I think the real difficulty was mental, rather than physical, though. With 30-Day Shred, I have cheesy-peppy music in the background, and Jillian's voice in my ear telling me to hang in there for a few more reps. With Making The Cut, it's just me, a book, and Rachel Ray's annoying talk show on the gym television. I really need to borrow Boy's iPod and put some good workout tunes on it. :p

I remember telling [livejournal.com profile] katlyn on Saturday that I'd completely wasted my afternoon, but NOW I remember what the hell I was doing! I was photo processing like a crazy person, and I re-processed these fashion photos that Boy took a few months back, when another photographer wanted to collaborate with us on lighting:

That's all for now. I'm off to try and focus on work. ;p
