30DC Day 27 & 28
Apr. 27th, 2009 01:20 pmDAY 27
Eating Well: It wasn't a perfect run, but I kept my alcohol consumption *way* down from my usual house party drinking levels, and I left myself room to enjoy some cupcakey goodness. Thumbs up!
Keeping Active: Level 1 of Shred, and then wushu. I was sore as hell when I got to wushu, but once I got warmed up, it wasn't so bad.
Emotional Health: I had a relaxed-and-groovy afternoon, felt great all day, and had crazy fun in the evening. :D
Other: Lots of cooking, prepped a gift certificate donation, and generally kept on top of things. <3
DAY 28
Eating Well: I spent a lot of time in the kitchen today, too, and everything was healthy and tasty. I've been flailing around for recipes that fit what I have around the house, and it's actually been fun to make new things. Also, baked sweet potatoes FTW.
Keeping Active: Day off! Jillian says on her podcast to take a break twice a week from the strength stuff, so who am I not to listen? ;)
Emotional Health: I did a lot of stuff to make my home environment more enjoyable (see Other), so hopefully that's a lift that'll last at least a few days.
Other: This was the most productive Sunday I've had in a long while. Made a bunch of whole-wheat waffles and popcorn snacks, got a lot of photos processed, did laundry (I even bleached the whites!), cleaned and reorganized the bedroom, stocked up on chicken breast... and probably other stuff that I'm forgetting.
