30DC Day 8
Apr. 7th, 2009 09:57 amEating Well: Blecch, I had a bad run today. My allergies got the better of me, so I felt like crap all day, and when I feel like crap all day, all I want to do is eat and sleep. I did get my proper dose of fruits and veggies, but there was a lot of junk in between. It wasn't a complete failure of a day, but saying, "I ate well today," is a bit of a stretch.
Keeping Active: Decided to postpone the gym until Wed./Thurs., since my muscles are *still* creaky and tired for some ridiculous reason. So, I kept it light by walking around downtown at the lunch hour for errands, and biked to the store in the evening to pick up allergy meds.
Emotional Health: Journaled in the morning, and got some Zyrtec, which will hopefully help with the allergies. The allergies are definitely bringing me down and affecting my ability to focus.
Other: I did 3 of the 4 items on my To-Do list! I'd have done the fourth, too, but I forgot that the consignment shop is closed on Mondays.
