Friday Night
Jan. 2nd, 2009 09:56 pmIt's Friday night and I'm on the El-Jay! Because I have no life. ;p In fairness, I *did* only just roll back into town late last night, though, so it seems a good time to re-familiarize my posterior with my favorite squishy chaise longue.
I rolled into Eugene late in the evening on Tuesday, and actually made good enough driving time that I pulled over for a few minutes to snag some quick shots of Mt. Shasta at sunset. Christmas with the family was good and busy and fattening, as it always is. :) New Year's was spent in Eugene and good times were had. I'm definitely done drinking for a while, though!
Today was relaxed in just the right kind of way: slow enough to enjoy, but not so slow that you get bored. I slept in, woke up with some fresh-roasted coffee from Dad, started organizing and poking through my Christmas stuff, went to wushu (thank god), and broke in my new crock pot by making soup with some veggies and leftover ham. Slow cookers are made of win. <3
Things to do soon:
--kick it with
benefitz
--make up for the aborted-due-to-snow lunch with
katlyn
--gather materials for a house-related project
--clear out some space in the closet for new things
--call counselor (yet again... phone-tag officially sucks)
--something else that I already forgot, so hopefully I'll remember soon ;p find a damned Wii Fit around this town
