I had a pretty severe bout of depression last week; the last time I could remember feeling that depressed was years ago, during college, before I knew the vast majority of you. I'd thought about writing about it, but I didn't because I was too listless and unmotivated to write it, if that tells you anything.

I almost didn't go to typsie's on Saturday, because I was in a crap mood and I felt too bloaty to put on such a tiny outfit for the second night in a row, BUT! I'm glad I did. I strapped into my costume, rubbed elbows with many an LJer, got *very* pleasantly tipsy, and eventually came home and crashed. And when I woke up on Sunday morning... well, aside from a raging hangover, I actually felt *better*. (drinking as a cure for depression? Who knew?)

I'm glad I don't get that miserable very often, because I'm finding I rather like not drinking often. Still, thanks to all the folks I saw that night for being you. :) My memory of the evening is fuzzy as all-get-out, but I know y'all are awesome and likely had more to do with fixing my mood than the alcohol did.

So, yeah, good weekend! Friday was pretty fun, too, although much more low-key and sober. I'll blather more once I track down some pictures. :)

For now, you must go forth and see my PLUS Model Magazine editorial! I put a lot of planning into this, and even though some of my plans went awry through no fault of mine, I'm so glad this spread is finally out in the wild. A taste:

It was so awesome seeing you on Sat (and I totally understand on the depression front). Sometimes all it takes is some booze, LJ gossip, and girlie rock band to cure the blues. Haha.
