If you hadn't noticed by now, I often feel awkward, uncomfortable, and generally not-myself with the world at large. There is usually a very small group of people whom I feel okay around, sometimes as small as one or two people.

Right now, oddly enough, I feel like I'm actually doing well and feeling comfortable with most people. I've been sick, tired, stressed out, as of late, and those are all things that normally make me shun the company of pretty much everyone. But, compared to my usual, I've been performing like a champ socially. I'm not sure what precipitated this, but it is definitely a Good Thing, and I hope it sticks.

Of course, I'm still pretty depresso overall, because I'm currently feeling alienated from the tiny group whom I would normally be super-comfortable with. Not due to any ill feeling they'd have towards me, mind you, but yeah, things are awkward. And no, the irony of that is not lost on me. :p Well, hey, maybe getting on well with all these other folks could make it easier to find someone whom I can talk about it with? Who knows.

Got booked for a job shooting a race on Sunday morning, much to my chagrin. I really could've used the extra sleep. :p
