In my grand plan for cleaning up the house and making it More Awesome, I forgot how difficult it can be to tidy up and throw out unwanted things that are lying around, when hardly any of those things are YOURS.

If you start tossing things out all willy-nilly, something of great importance to someone will inevitably end up in the trash. And then, whoever owns it will get cranky or worse for having lost said Important Thing, and the whole situation is just no damned good for anybody.

Oh yeah, and our lack of a full-size couch is also a problem. We have end tables out the wazoo, but no couch to pair them with! WTF?

Well, I got *my* stuff under some semblance of control, so that's a start.

Also, you guys post a lot. I kind of forgot that until I took these vacation days, and suddenly wasn't checking my friends list every half-hour. ;p

I used to have that problem all the time and still do somewhat. My solution was to have a bin for the stuff that didn't belong to me that was laying around an area it shouldn't be laying. That way I could clean up my space and the stuff that wasn't mine was out of the way.
