Here I go again (on my own)
Sep. 18th, 2008 04:30 pmOy vey, I think I may have overloaded myself again. (yeah, *there's* a shocker ;p)
The next two weeks are now going to be mad crazy with shoots. Fortunately, the majority of them are quick weekday shoots, so my time will be used pretty efficiently. And, if I take some PTO next week like I've been planning to, then I should be able to sail through just fine. Shooting beats the hell out of desk jockeying. ;)
And, more importantly, it's an opportunity to open up a pretty significant door to getting new, paid work. I've been talking and making arrangements with a few people, and I'm pretty darned excited. And, I'll be getting us some very relevant portfolio material that can open us up to other clients. So, I figure it's justified!
I think I'll call in some help from my partner-in-crime, too. We are a team and all, so we might as well put that to good use, heh.
Here are a few more shots from the clothing shoot I did a few weeks ago. The overall feel we went for was clean, fresh, and "naked," as the designer put it. We also played with the idea of having the model act like she was in her bedroom, trying on different outfits and checking herself in the mirror. Basically, a catalog shoot with a twist!
