I downloaded the new beta for Chrome, because I must make friends with all potentially good browsers. I admit that I groaned when I first heard about it, because the last thing I need is *another* browser for me to worry about when I build websites. Buuuut, it's Google, and their apps are generally pretty awesome. I haven't been using it for long, and I'm still getting used to the layout, but it's *fast*. Hell naw!

In the few moments we've been able to steal to ourselves over the past week or two, we've started watching Season 1 of Veronica Mars. (w00t for Netflix) I friggin' love that show, heh. I've already seen all of Season 1 and most of Season 2, but I didn't see any of Season 3, so I'm kind of in a hurry to get to that part. ;)

I'm feeling good today. Why? Two words: FREE WEEKEND. Oh yes!

deja vu! i follow an SEO/webdeisgner guy (former CTO of SEOMoz and creator of Mingle2) on twitter and he had this to say:

"When chrome was announced, I groaned so loud it was heard far away in space. Please don't make me have to test in another browser."

i had the same reaction, but i guess they're claiming that if it renders well in safari, it will render well in chrome.

i don't think i like all the blue. and it seems to be the bastard child of firefox and opera, only without addons. :(

Chrome is exceedingly fast. I don't know if I could live without FlashBlock, but it's my browser of choice when I'm in a hurry and not just dinking around right now.
