I threw together a shoot with a graduating design student and crammed it in before the wedding we shot last Sunday. Yeah, I'm crazy. XD (she did need to do it ASAP for her portfolio)

It's definitely NOT my preference to do morning shoots, but we shot it in the new living room, so at least I could roll out of bed, snarf some breakfast, and just wait for them to show up. After she sent me some sample photos of the kind of thing she wanted, it hit me that our mostly-empty living room and the antique-y furniture we had in it was just the kind of thing we needed. So rad!

Processing is going super-slow compared to my usual, because of my dead laptop, but I have these two so far:

That awesome little chess table in the second one? We found that at Goodwill for next to nothing. It even has little drawers to hold the pieces! It's great in our living room, and it worked awesome in the shoot.

Oh, and I friggin' love this girl's designs and choice of fabrics. SO pretty!

Really, really fabulous.

Will you have space for a home studio?

We'll have a home office, of sorts, and there's space enough to shoot in the common areas (i.e. the living room), but not really an "official" home studio. :) We probably *could* set one up in the basement, but it needs a lot of fixing up before that'd be feasible.
