My poor body hurts today. And it's not even from training, it's from sleeping on the floor. I've slept at the new house for the past couple of days, but there hasn't been any time or energy to get the bed moved to the new place. So, yeah, sleeping bag = not nearly enough padding for a side-sleeper. BOOOOOO-URNS.
But, on the up side:
ONE: Spent Saturday morning at the zoo with B's folks. I'd have had more fun if I'd gotten decent sleep, but it was a nice diversion nonetheless. :)
TWO: Belt test in the afternoon went as expected. It's always anti-climactic, because everyone passes, but I suppose you never know what can happen. It would've been better if they didn't pair me up with one of the slow-learner kids who barely knows the staff form, though: they literally told me to slow down and wait for him, which is no bloody fun. If there's any time when I'd want to do my form full-blast, it's at the friggin' belt test! ;p Oh well, got promoted, booyah.
THREE: I did this on Saturday:

We did two looks in an old Hollywood Glamour style, but I did put a little spin on the lighting. :) I kind of feel like I should go back and apply metric tons of glow filter to really get the 1930's look... Photoshop is the new Vaseline-on-the-lens! We also did two beauty looks, and I got to try some new lighting on that. So fun. :D
FOUR: The house is shaping up really nicely. Our new roommate moved in on Saturday, and she seems to be pretty rad so far! Hopefully her cat will get acclimated to the place soon, so it'll actually come out and visit with me. :D I also got some new hardware for the bathroom, so if I ever figure out where I put my screwdriver, I'll install it.
FIVE: I did this on Sunday:

One of ten outfits we shot yesterday for a new, locally-produced collection for Spring 2009, made with organic linens and dyed by hand! They were all really, really cute and I get to pick two pieces from her fall 2008 collection for my trouble! I kind of love that. I never actually buy fancy boutique clothes for myself, because I'm too cheap, but trading for them is pretty rad.
I think that's all I've got for now. There's so much clattering around in my noggin that I can't keep it all straight.
