Sometime during or after the demo on Thursday, I messed up my left foot. Because I am THAT AWESOME. XD
I don't know when this Injury of Mystery occurred, exactly, but when I try to move my pinky and second-to-last toes, it hurts. I noticed on Friday night that it was swollen, and it has remained slightly swollen since then, and it hasn't bruised or turned any odd colors. I can still walk on it pretty normally, so I'm not really worried about it, but it's still irksome.
I think the gods are telling me that I need to find a general practitioner in Portland that I actually like, so said GP can look at my foot. I've totally procrastinated on finding a GP, because I basically never need to go to one. I'm not the type of person who goes to the doctor every time I catch a cold or flu, so I only see a general practitioner when something wacky and unusual happens, like when I got pinkeye a few years ago.
I think the gods may also be *also* pointing out that I should go to the damned doctor more often. Because, well, I didn't go to the doctor or have any PT done when I hurt my ankle several years ago, and look where that got me! :p So, yeah, I'll decide to not be an idiot this time, and go get the stupid foot checked out.
Well, on the up side, my Stupid Ankle does feel pretty awesome right now. I guess that's a win?
