Garfield has never been funnier, you guys. (read the explanation at the top of the page)

It occurs to me that I haven't had an alcoholic drink since New Year's. I can't say that I've missed it, actually, and I'm sure it's the main thing keeping me from becoming totally flabby and sluggish during this lag in training motivation. I think I may keep the trend going for a while longer.

The Berkeley afterparty seems like an appropriate time to schedule a break from sobriety, since I always hit the "clean living" stuff hardest in the weeks leading up to a competition. Then again, judging from how that went *last* year, mmmmaybe I should just hold off until after I get back. I do not need to be rounding up the whole UO team by screaming into the night like some deranged den mother again. XD

In other news, I've traded a couple of e-mails with a graphic designer who's looking to partner up on starting a design firm, which might be just what the doctor ordered. It's clear that I don't have the time to start one all by myself, especially with photography going well and thusly taking up all of our available time. So yeah, having a partner on design stuff would be great, and we complement each other really well in terms of the types of experience we have. Let's hope good comes out of it!

Speaking of photography going well, I'm doing a shoot with a pianist in a couple hours, which should be fun. Oh, I'm currently planning a band photoshoot. With sparklers. Hells yeah.

Holy crap, Garfield is funny again! Yes, I admit, I used to like Garfield quite a lot when I was a wee one. As I got older, I understood the extent of its suckitude. But now, New and Improved! Sure beats Old and Inferior.
