I DEMAND THINGS TO BE AWESOME!
Feb. 25th, 2008 01:17 pmMichael Bay's FiOS commercial makes me hate him less. He wins points for having the capacity to make fun of himself in front of billions of people, and if his definition of "awesome" actually *is*, "stuff that blows up big," that explains *so* much about his suck-ass movies. XD
This weekend was pretty much a goof-off weekend, which was actually great, because we haven't had anything resembling that in far too long. We did do a mother-daughter shoot which was quick but good, but the other shoot I had that day canceled, so it was a pretty easy weekend.
Yesterday, we ran some laps at Malibu Raceway, which I hadn't been to since I was in middle school and couldn't drive the full-on racers yet. Not surprisingly, the adult-size cars are way more fun. I also kind of get why racing is regarded as a sport now, because my arms got tired *fast* trying to steer that thing around the windy track. I have wimpy arms, though, so your mileage may vary. (pun!)
We also hit up the Cheesecake Factory, which, YUM! I have to say it's 100 times better when you have somebody to split your meal with; I horfed down an entire entree and cheesecake when I was visiting
ghost_girl and instantly regretted eating that much food at once, heh.
Oh yeah, and we picked up a copy of Soul Calibur 3. I friggin' love all the Soul Calibur games! Unfortunately, I discovered that I kind of hate playing them on a PS2 controller; I guess I got spoiled by all those afternoon breaks playing SC2 at the EMU on their arcade machine. Sigh.
And in closing, your obligatory picture spam. Same girls/looks as these headshots, but with different lighting and/or editing:

That's all!
