batskeetsThese past couple of weeks have definitely taken their toll. I had some issues falling asleep last night, and I noticed that I was clenching my jaw without even realizing it. Eeep.
And you know? It's bad enough to have to report in an hour early for work, but to report in for a conference call? Yeah, not so fun. But, I finally have some room to breathe after the hectic and forced creativity of the past two weeks, so it's a definitely relief.
I heard from member of a local band yesterday, in response to my Craigslist posting in search of musicians for a product shoot. And, oddly enough, the electro-rock/pop fan in me actually LIKES their music! I'm weird about electronic music, because there doesn't seem to be much correlation between the electronic acts that I like, but a few of their tracks *really* remind me of more recent Bis tracks, so that's a Win. <3
We actually sold a model portfolio package yesterday, which shocked me, seeing as I'd only just recently figured out a pricing structure, and we haven't even been advertising those packages at all yet. The shoot itself went all right, and I think the hardest part was picking out the outfits, just because they were all pretty similar.
This afternoon should be a nice breather, because I'm taking off early to get my hair done. Amy's going to try and fix my nasty, grown-out quasi-mullet! Woohoo!
