Stuffed to the gills

batskeetsSweet holy jesus, I have enough food on my desk to feed a small army. I didn't *mean* to end up with all this stuff, but their menu layout isn't very self-explanatory, so I ended up with way more than I expected. I've eaten the baby carrots and half the sandwich so far, and I'm already getting full.
Aaaanyhoo, we made it out to Last Thursday on Alberta for the first time yesterday, and it's definitely an experience. The streets were crammed with people, and the sidewalks were littered with street vendors and performance acts. And we saw jousting on tall bicycles. It was pretty sweet.
Also, thanks to the Last Thursday crew, I now have a Kucinich button on my bag, to go with my Ron Paul button. Haha! :D Thing is, I *would* vote for either one of them, so it's being truthful. They could even team up! They don't have a lot in common on their views, but they're both honest, straightforward and experienced people who want to do something good for America.
Oh yeah, and I also watched Ong Bak the other day, which was freakin' awesome, and even inspired a me with photoshoot idea... muahaha. Seriously, Tony Jaa is completely bananas. We also saw the Bourne Ultimatum recently at the beer theater, and that was pretty good, too. Probably would've been even better if I'd seen either of the first two movies... I'll have to remedy that sometime relatively soon.
Oh, and another weird occurrence: I was standing around at wushu on Tuesday, waiting for my turn at straightsword, and this lady (presumably a parent of one of the other students) asked me, "are you in high school or college?" I told her neither, and that I'd already graduated college a few years ago, and she was like, "wow, you look so young!"
Now, I can believe that I'd get mistaken for a college girl. It wasn't *that* long ago, I haven't had kids yet, etc. But... HIGH SCHOOL? Srsly?
I suppose I might be happy about this sort of thing when I'm 47, but right now, at 27? It's just weird.
Anyhoo, lots to do, so I'm running away now.
