Two-faced?

Forget two-faced, Mitt Romney seems to have one for every day of the week/month/year.

Don't believe it? He has quite a long history of flip-flopping on his platform stances to further boost his campaign's successes. Now, he apparently wants to borrow Ron Paul's platform!

It's posturing for the sake of strategy, and I sincerely hope that people can see through it. But, judging from anecdotes like what [livejournal.com profile] dnelson posted yesterday, I can't say I hold out a lot of hope, sometimes. :(

Speaking of, we're hopefully going to make it out to a Ron Paul supporters gathering next week. I've been meaning to go to one of their banner brigades, but I've been busy every time they've done one within striking distance of the house. I feel like I should get out there and do *something*, though, so I'll find the time soon...

I respect his committment and heart, but I can't support his oppostion to stem cell research, abortion rights, Kyoto, net neutrality, increase of the minimum wage, and universal healthcare, or his support for arctic drilling and a border fence. I do hope he can at least get double digits in some of the primaries, though.
