Wow. I think we just got a phishing e-mail this morning... that was directed specifically at wedding photographers. WTF?

That's just wacky. Who in their right mind would fly in an as-yet-unknown photographer for a three-hour gig? Seriously, all he needs to do is mention Nigeria in his e-mail, and he'll have the phisher formula down to a T!

That is a really strange way to scam someone if that's the case. Are you sure it's not legit and he's just confused?

Well, there are similar scams floating around out there--I've heard about some targeted at models, for instance--and they have a similar, "I'm going to fly you in for a ridiculously high-paying job, please give all your personal information to my guy in the UK," formula.

And seriously. He types just like a Nigeria scammer!
