The Power of Suggestion
Mar. 20th, 2007 09:52 amRewind to last night, sometime after 11pm. I'm busily updating my portfolio, Andy is working on his music, Ben is tinkering with a new backup server, and David is periodically telling us about funny or interesting articles he's reading on the ol' Interweb.
He happens upon an article about a study that shows Americans are still not eating enough fruits and vegetables. The rest of us aren't too surprised to hear that only 11% of people eat enough fruits *and* enough vegetables. David mentions the part of the article that says, "fried potatoes count" as a vegetable, and I groan and say that's practically cheating.
After a bit more commentary on the subject, David leaves the room shortly thereafter, and when he comes back? He comes bearing a big bowl of corn. (a vegetable, of course)
Coincidence? ;)
