Okay, this has been irking me, as of late: I'm always looking for healthy and tasty recipes, so I have the AllRecipes Healthy Recipes feed on my Google homepage. Today, I load up the page, and the "healthy" recipes on the feed are the following:
Hot Honey Chicken
Deep Fried Camembert with Raspberry Sauce
Tomato Bacon Squares
The chicken doesn't seem all that horrible, I suppose, and I *guess* the calorie count is low on the Tomato Bacon Squares (probably because one serving is tiny), but really, in what universe does DEEP-FRIED CHEESE count as a healthy recipe? Granted, it does sound like it could be tasty--I do love me some cheese--but jeez, my arteries are clogging just looking at the thing.
Anyhoo, I had a few thoughts about what to do last night, and wound up doing none of those things! Har har. ;p My time at the gym was good, at least, but I think I was in bed before 10p. It was probably a good idea rest up before the craziness of the next few days.
I have a new 3vil plan: sell Kero-chan. Yeah, it kind of breaks my heart to be doing that, but it's pretty old, by computing standards. I barely ever use it anymore, and it saddens me to see it go to waste, but in the few recent instances when I've tried to use it to get work done, it was waaaayy too slow. I can likely get several hundred dollars for it, because people like iBooks, and it's a good machine that I took good care of. I'd rather see it go to someone who'll get better use out of it, and I could use the dolla' bills.
Anyhoo, I have things to do, and I'm a tad grumpy because I won't have time to go to the gym tonight before the holiday party, so I'm off like a dirty shirt.
