A free piano on Craiglist. FREE?!

I'm tempted to call them and be all, "are you seriously giving away a piano for free?" I'm actually considering it, even though they say you have to move it yourself, and I'm sure I'm wildly underestimating what would be involved in moving it. And that's not to mention the fact that A) if it's free, it's probably crap, and B) I'm only vaguely certain there'd be a place to put the thing at the house, if I did take it.

But, damn! It's a piano! I've been wanting one for years! Granted, I'd been hoping to get one that was easier-moved... a pressure-sensitive full-sized keyboard, perhaps. But still, if the price is right...

So, um, anyone wanna help me move a piano? ::laughs::

Seriously, though, I'm kidding. Mostly. ::rotfl::

fyi, if it's a (baby) grand, you take it apart and reassemble it at your new location, after (of course) getting the piano tuner to tune it (ask a local music shop).

If it's an upright, well, that requires doing it the hard way.

(My parents and I own a baby grand, so that's how I learned about it ;p)
