"I have powerful balls!"
Oct. 23rd, 2006 01:02 pmWell, I attempted to take a nap, among other things, on Friday, but only managed to get 20 minutes of sleep, because people kept calling me. I didn't answer, but it was enough to wake me up. ;p It figures that the phone never rings, except when I don't *want* it to ring. ::laughs:: I did a quick shoot later on Friday, so now I have a bit of a backlog again. I hope the processing goes as fast as it did with the last shoot I processed. ;p
Saturday was a fun day of hiking around the Hobbit Trails near the coast, with Ben and David. We all brought our cameras, because we're dorks like that, and there were some really cool beams of light coming through the trees on those trails, and the sand dunes were awesome. I'll get to those pictures soon, I hope.
I helped
bychoice and
bodhranist move into their new place yesterday, and that went along all right, mammoth-sized furniture and all. ;) Their new place is pretty cute. We were also rewarded with tons of tasty homemade food, in the form of "weird pizza" and pie, so I left feeling pleasantly full.
Last night, we carved pumpkins at the house! Some of our awesomeness included a Bomb-Omb from Super Mario Bros., Darth Vader, Pumpkin "Pi" (haha), and a screen from NetHack. Yeah, we're dorks. ::rotfl:: I'm also officially a believer in those little pumpkin carving saws. They look chintzy as hell, and they do have a tendency to bend, but I managed to create a pumpkin that actually looked something like what I'd pictured in my head! That's never happened before, heh. :) I took pictures that I'll hopefully post tonight or tomorrow.
Anyway, now I'm sipping on cider, courtesy of
chiaslut, and busting out graphical goodness. I have *tons* to do today after I leave the Job, and I don't know if I'll get it all done. Eeep.
