batskeetsParty at my house, Tonight! Yeah, I've only been blabbing about it all week, but if'n you want the info, give me a holler. Yeah, it should be good times. :)
Tomorrow, we're photographing a wedding! The circumstances are kind of funny: we had a model contact us about shooting sometime, and she mentioned that she was getting married in 2 weeks, so she'd be too busy to do it right away... next thing you know, Ben's being all Johnny-on-the-spot and asking if she has a photographer for the wedding yet, heh. They're on a tight budget and didn't have one lined up, so now we're doing it!
Since they're on a budget, and we haven't shot a wedding with all 3 of us present before, we're not getting paid or anything. We'll definitely get some more portfolio material, though, and we might get lucky and sell some prints. We've already had several people contact us about paying gigs, so all we really need is some good sample photos to show off... $$$!
The wushu demo went pretty well... aside from the intermittent interruptions by various university-affiliated service trucks and vans driving through the intersection near the EMU. ::rotfl:: Seriously, though, we've all been kind of concerned about not having Phil around to lead us, but we pulled it together today, and I think we'll feel more confident in our ability to carry the torch the more we get back into the swing of things. *I'm* certainly starting to feel better, at least.
I am hungry and I am out of celery. I want to go home and eat... blaaaaah.
