A winner is me! (almost)

batskeetsOh yeah, so I forgot to mention: on Friday night, I went to poker night at Jeremy's, and I actually managed to *not* suck and come in second. That basically meant that I got my $5 buy-in back, so no big winnings, but with my luck at cards being how it usually is, I'm just happy to have landed somewhere other than dead last. ::rotfl::
In other excellent news, I am (hopefully) going to set up a date to model for some action and movement photography, with someone whose work I actually like! He's already photographed a couple of dancers before, with some pretty cool results, so I have high hopes that we'll get some good results for me, too. And *then*, when I said that I'd like to be reimbursed for gas, he said that he'd pay me beyond that to come up there and shoot. Getting paid to do something that you wanted to do anyway? Kicks ass. :D
I did some 1337 designing last night. It was really tough to get started, because I've been feeling a bit uninspired in the realm of design, as of late, but after staring at the wall intermittently and catching up on SG-1 and SG:A episodes, I actually came up with something I really liked. I always get a little worried about producing on demand, so it's kind of a relief every time I manage to pull off something when I'm not feeling so creative.
I stayed up way too late, though... I swear, I either need to be harassed or coaxed into going to bed at a decent hour.
