I want to run away to San Francisco.
I'm being completely serious about that. I've had kind of a love affair with SF for years, and every time I go there, I'm left wanting to experience more of it. I've wanted to go for quite some time, and I'm hard pressed to think of much that I'd have any trouble leaving behind, aside from a handful of people. It's a tough proposition, though. There are so many things I'd have to do to get the ball rolling on that, though, and I currently have no time or energy for any of it. Blaaahhhh.
I want to sleep for a very long time. It is my goal this weekend to get up early for absolutely NOTHING. :O I'm not sure if that's gonna work, but I'm going to try.
I think I'm training in my sleep again, because I woke up this morning and everything *hurt*. I've been taking it easier and mostly teaching lately, because I injured my hamstring a week or two ago. (yeah, go me ;p) And of course, now everyone's leaving, and I'll be practicing solo again... it's wushu withdrawal, I can already tell.
Speaking of wushu, I went to Red Robin with the Posse last night, and a whole bunch of the wushu crew happened to come in while I was there... including Phil!! I guess he's back in town for a few days. And of all things, he actually found my lost Berkeley medals! Apparently, they somehow ended up in his bag... I guess it's easy to assume that they're his, because he always wins a ton of the damned things, but jeez. I never thought I'd ever find out what happened to those things. ;p
The photography thing is starting to go places... we're actually setting deadlines and such now, and I'm going to work up some cool logo and website stuff for it. Woo! I also have a nice digital SLR scoped out for under $400 on Amazon... still not cheap enough for me to get it today, but it seems less impossible now. :)
That's all I've got. Friday, away!
