Call the Doc-tor, Call the Doc-tor!
Mar. 30th, 2006 12:23 pmAfter 2 days in a row of not training, sitting on my butt watching TV, and going to bed early so I can get more sleep, I still feel like hell today.
My muscle aches are gone, so I can probably blame that on the extra workouts last weekend. However, my legs are still dead weight, I feel exhausted after a full night's sleep, and now my stomach hurts like hell. Oh, and the tingly body parts are still cropping up periodically. I'm not sure that I can blame all of this on the Red Devil anymore. I realize that Red Devil-related symptoms haven't hit me this hard since before the BC, and some of these symptoms have never happened to me before.
And really, when you've been doing wushu and/or weight training 5 days a week, for several months, the simple act of walking, or hell, just STANDING UP should not feel like that much effort!!
I set up a doctor's appointment for tomorrow morning. I have to get to the bottom of this. It is NOT normal.
I'm still training tonight, as scheduled, though. Even if I half-ass it, it's better than not doing it at all.
Anyway, to ensure that this post isn't a complete downer, I give you: The Fighting Art of the Cosmos!! Soooo funny.
