Oh my GOD. I kind of don't believe it, but at the same time, I am completely not surprised: Lord of the Rings... ON STAGE!
The weather seems to be warming up again, and my allergies are flaring up along with it. Itchy eyes and sneezing, BOOOOOO! My allergies are worst in the earlier parts of spring, so I just hope it *stays* warm this time, so I don't have to go through this again. :p
I had to cut my wushu practice short yesterday, because of stupid Spring Break hours going into effect at the Rec, so I only got to practice until 8p. I did go and lift afterwards, though, and I did some good walking yesterday afternoon when I went to the camera shop, so I still worked pretty hard.
The new broadsword sections are a little awkward, still, but they're getting better. The suck part is that I only have two sections done, and I need four! I'm debating whether or not I should just frankenstein the last 2 sections together myself by looking at other forms, because I don't want to be shoehorning two more sections into my brain the week before competition, *especially* when I have all of next week to train in a very open space.
I'm kind of tired and don't particularly want to train today, and my wrist still hurts, but I should, so I will. I'm sure that with all the broadsword flowers and the computer-industry job, I'm working on a nice case of carpal tunnel. ;p
Weekend is very up-in-the-air. I don't have anything in particular lined up, but I'll probably get some offers tonight or tomorrow for fun things. See, there's this thing called, "planning ahead," that my various social groups never seem to do, so it makes life a bit hard to predict. :)
I do know that I'll be taking some photos tomorrow or Sunday, hopefully. (I found a temporary solution to the camera problem, w00t!) I'm also probably going to bake some stuff this weekend, probably in the realm of desserts or snacks, and of course I'll be doing it with some of my own crazy modifications... muahaha! I hope it turns out edible.
I envy everyone who is going on vacation or break this coming week. Lucky bastards.
