Lazy Tuesday was sufficiently lazy. Ate a Subway wrap for dinner, and lazed around the best way I knew how. I didn't get around to watching Prison Break, but I caught up on Veronica Mars and The Colbert Report. God, that show is genius. Actually, both shows are genius, just, y'know, not in any ways that are similar to each other. ;p

Recent problem: One night about a week or two ago, when I was laying in bed, trying to fall asleep, I suddenly noticed that my foot felt tingly. I nudged it with my other foot, and it felt oddly numb, so I shifted positions, figuring that I was laying funny and cutting off the blood circulation, and fell asleep after that.

Two nights later, it happened again, and this time I felt numbness in my right foot *and* tingling in the calf above it. I had to get up and walk around the room for a minute before I started feeling normalish.

On Monday, I was shivering behind my desk at work, because I've always had less-than-great circulation, and the climate control there sucks, so my hands and feet are always a bit chilly. I'd been using the mouse exclusively for most of the afternoon, but when I stopped to actually type something, I noticed that my right pinky and left index finger were numb.

Since this all started, I've had numb foot/calf issues when I go to bed, and sometimes at my desk, every other day or so. And, today, the same two fingers went numb again.

I'm starting to get really concerned, because this numbness thing just came on all of a sudden, and I can't figure out what the cause could be. My clothes can't be cutting off the circulation, because they're all at least slightly too big. I haven't made any wild changes to my lifestyle recently, and the weather has been freezing for months, so I can't even blame cold temperatures.

Anyway, if this keeps up for much longer, I'll have to schedule a doctor's appointment, because this? Not normal.

Well, at least I have wushu tonight, so maybe *that* will get my blood flowing properly. Until then, I'm off.

Google carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome. It sounds a bit too sudden from what you write, and it would be both if it's both pinky and index fingers (which strikes me as unlikely to happen). But it wouldn't hurt to take a look. Just in case.

I have cubital tunnel syndrome (well controlled now), and I mistook it for circulation issues to begin with.

Wow, interesting! I'd heard of carpal tunnel, but not cubital.

I still wonder WTF is up with the foot/leg tingling, though... gah.
