"Hey, baby, wanna kill all humans?"
Mar. 15th, 2006 12:46 pmI'm getting an odd enjoyment out of this journal comic. (thanks to
alleycatsphinx) They're drawn so cute-like! So random and silly.
Man, if I had more time and wasn't such an anal-retentive perfectionist about my drawing, I'd have done a webcomic ages ago. I don't think that my supply of creative energy is quite consistent enough, though. But then again, some of the webcomic artists I've historically kept up with are always having "I'm dead" days, to the point where it's not even worth having a schedule. And yet, people will still read, and even give them money for their stuff! It's interesting how people can be so willing to put up with flakiness for the sake of art.
Last night, several of us met up at DQ after work to have some chow, which was very much in the spirit of Lazy Tuesday. No cooking = no effort = ultimate lazy! After that, the guys had to bail, so it turned into sort of a girls' night... of watching Team America: World Police. XD Yeah, we are weird chicks. I hadn't seen the movie before, and I don't know that I'll watch it again any time soon--the South Park guys are spot-on when they're funny, but when they're trying to be shocking... meh--but it was worth my 90 minutes just for the soundtrack. MON-TAAAAAAGE!
I need to take some pictures tonight. (hint: let me borrow your camera kthxbye) I was going to do some last night, but my camera is hosed, and will now only take blurry pictures. BAH. I need to look into what repairs will cost, I guess. Anyhoo, I played with some other pictures from before the camera problems in Photoshop, and I kind of want to marry this one:

I am fighting myself, oh noes! The Photoshopping isn't perfect, but it was still fun x 10000 yen. Still, bah, I should get someone who is not me to model on this stuff, because I'm getting tired of looking at myself! They'd probably have less ill-fitting clothes to wear, too. :p (yeah, *somebody* needs a new wardrobe, sigh) That group photo session can't come fast enough! Also, please ignore my crappy sword technique. ;p
I'm sleepy today. I stayed up way too late last night. Blar.
