The Collegiates frenzy begins, at least for me, in just a few hours... I'm kind of excited, but I also almost don't want work to end. ::rotfl::

I finally finished watching the BSG that aired last Friday--I've had to watch it in little 20-minute bursts throughout the week--and OMG SO GOOD. I'm not going to talk spoilery on it, because I did miss a couple of episodes, but man, that one was awesome. I'm pumped for the next!

I haven't finished the new PR episode, but I did watch the reunion. I actually loved the little montages, especially the many faces of Andrae, and the "musical" with the various singing bits. (Loved the bit about Daniel F, "see you on Season 3!" ::rotfl::) Lupe was clearly on something, and it wasn't just alcohol. Still love Andrae and Diana. Tim Gunn is Teh Awesome and the Timpressions are still funny on the second viewing. Hee! Also, that chick who got eliminated in the first episode? SO IRRITATING. When I see her in the bonus videos on the Bravo web site, I literally cringe after a few seconds. I'm so glad they booted her, I don't think I'd have survived much more of her.

I made this recipe for dinner last night--I added a few parmesan shavings, and used spinach and flank steak instead of arugula and sirloin, because that's what I had on hand--and it turned out awesome. The dressing wasn't as tart and didn't taste as strongly of balsamic vinegar as I expected, but it was flavorful and yummy. I also have enough to eat several times over the next few days, and the whole thing took me *maybe* half an hour, and that includes the 15 minutes or so that it took to defrost the flank steak. Yay! I love tasty food that's quick to make.

Anyhoo, I have lots to do! Maybe I'll drunk-dial a phone post from the after-party tomorrow or something. XD

I haven't watched BSG since the black Market episode, which is sad, because I really like the show, I just don't have a television upon which to watch. I can't justify shelling out $2 for a show that I'll end up watching on DVD in another 4 months. blasted distribution of cool shows!

So as not to spoil it, I won't talk plot. But I loved the music during the first 1/4 of the episode. It really set the mood for something epic to come.
