Here's that Johari Window thing that all the kids are doing right now: go add your ratings for me! :) (also, 5-6 choices is *way* too limiting ;p)
Okay, this is kind of insane: Rick Moranis is now a Grammy-nominated country singer! Yes, as in the Keymaster/Dark Helmet/Seymour. No, I'm not kidding!
PR babble! WHAT THE CRAP. I'm kind of conflicted about the decision, because I do agree that the suit Nick made was pretty girly (but man, Daniel looked pretty smokin' in spite of it), and it's been obvious that the competition was wearing Nick down over time, because he definitely hasn't been as good these past few weeks. He was ready to go home, I think; I just wish he'd have gone out on a higher note.
However, Santino's jumpsuit, while interesting on a conceptual level, was so totally unfinished that he probably should have gone, too. If ever there was a time for a double-auf...! I also feel slightly insane, because I kind of dug the jumpsuit, at least as an idea, and I still can't completely hate Santino, either. Every time I think I'm going to hop on the Hate Train, he busts out something ridiculously funny. See the subject line quote? Completely laughed my ass off. I loved his talking to invisible Andrae, too. Sigh, damn him for being both entertaining and a colossal ass.
This whole challenge turned out pretty awful, really. Blegh. I was surprised that the girls did so well; they did decent work, but hadn't really wow-ed me before, *especially* in the case of Kara.
I think I'm still cheesed off that Andrae's gone; he turned out to be so creative and seemed like such a sweetheart. Sigh, I'm bummed out.
Lalala. Practice was good yesterday. Dinner was good. Home time was good. I could say more, but I don't really feel like it, heh. :)
