batskeetsI checked my e-mail a moment ago, and surprise (!), I got a request to use one of the photos in my portfolio. I'm always caught a little off-guard when people are actually interested in my photography, because I'm soooo sporadic and amateur about it at times, but it always cheers me up a little.
This one is unusually cool, because they want to use it for a promotional poster. They're an academic non-profit, so they have no money to offer, but to have my photography used for something that's not just Random Guy #3's Personal Blog or whatever? That's really neat. :D Also, it's this picture, which I did in my B&W Photography class, and I always really liked that photo.
I'm going to e-mail them back later, and see if I can get a copy of the poster mailed to me or something. That's hellacool. Whee!
Also, to ensure that this post is not *entirely* self-congratulatory: Firefly fanpeople need to look at this! It's amusing.
