I saw the above as part of a [livejournal.com profile] brad post, and holy jeebus, it's so true. The prospect of changing the wushu team t-shirt colors came up at practice last week, and I swear they took more time debating the shirt and printing colors than I took actually putting in the freaking t-shirt order. It's a color! As long as it's not obnoxiously ugly, who cares?

I read Go Fug Yourself regularly, but I have to link this particular one, because it's so great.

So yeah, I totally didn't care about The Bowl yesterday, so don't ask me what I thought of it. Besides, I probably get a holy ass-ton of geek points because I can honestly and proudly say, "I skipped the Super Bowl for an MMORPG raid!" XD

Yes, yesterday we did UBRS up through the Beast, and then went to LBRS. Made some good money, but didn't get any gear that I could use, sigh. We did 5-man Scarlet on Saturday, though, and I'm now rolling with the Cruel Hand of Timmy as my off-hand weapon. TIMMAH! We're hoping to join forces with another small guild and get a 20-man ZG raid going, because they actually roll like we roll, and going to ZG would be hellacool.

The rest of the weekend was very relaxing, yay! I didn't go to Portland, but we brought Spycraft back from the dead on Saturday morning, and did lunch afterwards, both of which were much fun. I actually had time to sit down and catch up on some TV, and I got some real sleep. So, yeah, no exciting stories to tell, but I'm feeling a lot less stressed out.

I made a yummy roasted tomato soup last night, too... enough to last me several days! I think I need to tweak the recipe a bit more, but for a first attempt, it was pretty good! I hope to keep it up and try a new recipe every week or two, if I can swing it.

That's all I've got, because there's work to be done. Poof!
