"Where the HELL is my chiffon?!"
Jan. 9th, 2006 05:50 pmFor those who are interested locally, Brokeback Mountain is now at our handy-dandy local Cinemark. Whee!
Well, weekend kind of sucked. :p My dear friend Aunt Flo hit me harder than usual, I suspect because my training has been so damned spotty over the past month or so. I felt like crap and actually took a *nap* on Saturday evening, which is something I basically never do. Sunday? About the same. Blaaaahhh.
On the up side, wushu starts tonight, so I'll be hitting it hard! Not a moment too soon, either.
Also, it was a good WoW weekend. We had a Scholo raid planned for Sunday, so we did that, and it went really well. Lots of good loot for people (well, except the poor pallies) and it went well... even when we had bad pulls--or when I friggin' slipped and hit Cheap Shot instead of the Sap hotkey--we held together. I'm looking forward to the next one!
I just saw peektures from New Year's Eve, and just... BWAH!! Entertaining stuff.
BSG was hellagood. Michelle Forbes is so good at the sinister, heinous bitch roles. (it looks like they're bringing her on over at Prison Break, too, as one of the sinister government agents, so apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so) The two Stargates were also good fun, and SG-1 also had a rather lengthy appearance from our dear old friend CGB Spender, heh. I still miss Richard Dean Anderson, but Ben Browder is proving himself to be good with the sassiness in his own right.
That's all I've got. ::poof!::

Date: 2006-01-10 07:52 pm (UTC)Yeah I gotta agree with that. RDA definitely brought something that is noticeably missing now that he's gone. I don't know that they've given BB much to work with, though; it seems like "generic cocky hero" is all that's present in the character thus far.
And yeah, the new doctor? Snooooore. Doc Frazer would've had it all figured out, and without the annoying daddy issues :p
