OMG OMG Futurama may live again! Woohoo!

And, apparently, Jon Stewart is being put forth as 2006 Oscars host! That? Unexpected. I am simultaneously cheered and embittered by this. Cheered, because he is smart and funny and I lurrrve him and wish him success; embittered, because I now actually feel somewhat compelled to watch a celebrity wankfest that I would normally skip without hesitation.

Giant Hard Drive of Doooooom is all hooked up and super-groovy. Yay! Giant LCD Monitor of Doom is also hooked up, and it's very cool. In fact, almost *too* good, because the non-antialiased edges are suddenly much more noticeable when I play WoW... sigh. I guess I need a video card that's more worthy of the monitor.

Anyhoo, life has been low-key. Drinking tea, eating soup, and taking it easy. I actually sound a lot worse than I really am, at this point, because my voice is squeaky, but I don't feel all *that* bad... just tired. I'll still be going to Taiji tonight, as scheduled.

WoW has been bangin'; I finally got a better dagger, and I had an awesome AB run where I ended up being #1 on killshots Alliance side, #2 overall. I think it was mostly due to the two pathetic losses prior to that, because they pissed me off enough that I took charge of the raid and got all feisty. PUGs are so frustrating.

I hope all you TPKers are coming to Scholo on Sunday! And you should visit the message board and suggest future raids, so it's not just me and J flooding the board. :D

Oh, before I forget, PR Blather! Say it with me now: NICK WAS ROBBED! That dress was awesome. I'd wear it in a heartbeat, and that's *with* the knowledge that, while good for Nicky Hilton, that shade of blue would probably make me look like I've ingested month-old chicken salad. Santino's dress was weird and foofy and didn't seem like a winner to me, but the Hilton sisters are not exactly known for their taste, so it fits. :p

I was surprised that Marla scraped by, though; I thought for sure that Lupe's ugly-but-original would win over Marla's not-ugly, but incredibly derivative design. I feel like Marla hasn't really found her voice yet, as a designer, but copycatting is dangerous ground to be walking on. Lupe's dress *was* really bad, though; it looked like something for a barroom brawl, not a rich socialite party.

And in conclusion: CUTE OVERLOAD :O
