I have a lot of cute little cards that are begging to be used, so it's time to play: Gimme your address and I will mail you something!
[Poll #625538]
Only I can view the poll results, so your homes are safe! But, if you still don't trust it, you can hit me with an e-mail.
How sad is it that my reactions to receiving a personal e-mail are starting to rival my reactions to receiving a personal letter in my mailbox? Seems like I get plenty of mail--what with all the mailing lists and spam and workstuff--but personal messages are few and far between. (
designer_fetus knows what I'm talking about. ;p) I suppose if I sent e-mail out more often, I'd get more replies, but that would require me having something to say that I haven't already covered a million times on this here LJ.
I haven't talked about it in a while, but a few random notes about Lost: So, the fact that Kate blew up her Not!Stepdad? Kind of don't care. ;p But, at least it wasn't a lame pseudo-cliffhanger that ultimately tells us nothing, like the, "ZOMG I'M ROBBING A BANK TO GET A TOY PLANE" episode. I just can't seem to care about this character, for some reason.
I'm still cheesed off that they killed Shannon when we were just starting to gain some real sympathy for her. But, I hear that it may be at least partly because the actress has other work she wants to pursue, so I can give the writers a pass on this one.
I *love* Mr. Eko! Huge and bad-ass with the Big Stick of Ass-Whooping, but also respectful and compassionate and cool-headed. Him and Locke working together on the film in this past Wednesday's episode was so much fun to watch.
I think the jury's still out for me, re: Ana Lucia. It seems like there's a lot of hate for her, but I don't think *I* feel the hate yet. Of course, that may be due to the fact that I like Michelle Rodriguez in pretty much anything.
My stomach has been mildly upset for most of the week. And, this is the season of everyone foisting holiday treats on everyone else, so it's probably not going to get much better. Gaaaahhh. Must come up with polite ways to turn down goodies, or I will be curled up in the fetal position before long. :p Still, they're so tasty that I don't always *want* to say no. Stupid tummy.
Anyhoo, it's Friday! Ding! It didn't come fast enough, if you ask me. Time to get some REAL SLEEP.
