Fandango is being stupid and not posting any movie times for Gateway yet, but: Does anyone want to go see Rent on Wednesday? Sometime after 7:00pm, I'm thinking?
I think I had a case of the Mondays yesterday--I was feeling rather brain-dead, and I was late for pretty much everything, and just... blah. But, that said, it was actually not a bad day.
Wushu practice was rather fun. Phil randomly suggested that I start learning to do the 360 standing jump outside/lotus kick. (!!) I was rather surprised, because I didn't think I was even remotely capable of it, but I wound up averaging about 315 of the 360 degrees in rotation, so yay.
A few of us went and played some basketball at the Rec afterwards, and I couldn't seem to land a shot if my life depended on it. (probably, in part, because I bruised the hell out of my left hand while doing a hammer fist) But, I was a rebounding monster! I don't think I've actually *tried* to play b-ball since, oh, 9th grade or thereabouts, so apparently I'm not too old and decrepit for sports... yet. ;p
I also ran into Ben, Sarah, and Jenny completely at random; they were finishing playing racquetball as we were going in to play basketball. :) I think I was rather lame on the conversation--I'm not too good at drive-by encounters even when my brain *isn't* lagging--but it was a nice surprise. Also: I think racquetball might be fun to try, but I don't generally do too well at racquet-wielding sports... is it hard?
In other news, I just won yet another Fred Meyer gift certificate from the latest Bug Hunt... but I still haven't spent the ones I previously won. ^^; The only time I really go to West Eugene is to give Walt a ride home, or to go party at the Shack, so I basically never want to go to Freddie's anymore. Hrm, does Fred Meyer sell any remotely respectable beers?
Your results:
You are Spider-Man

Bleh, why is Superman such a close second? He is the Blandy Blands of comics, y'all.
That's all!
