I woke up yesterday feeling really barfy, so I decided to pretend that Monday didn't exist. ;p It seems to have worked, because look! It's Tuesday! ::rotfl::
Seriously, though, I think the lack of sun is getting to me; I haven't felt this utterly blah in a good while. Either that, or it's PMS. Or maybe it's just the fact that life sucks for a lot of people.
------
Speaking of, why does everyone's life suck in 2005? When I think about it, pretty much everyone I know has had a really, really shitty year, in at least one area or another. And, the suck part is that the nicest people--the ones who have already filled their Really Bad Life Event quota for at least the next 3 or 4 decades--are the ones who have been dragged through some of the the worst things.
It kind of makes me wonder when the Really Bad Stuff is going to make its way 'round to me.
------
Anyway, wushu was fantastic on Friday. It always seems to make me feel better about life in general; I can go in feeling grumpy as all hell, but I always leave with a smile on my face or a spring in my step. I don't know if it's wushu specifically, or if it's just having the opportunity to blow off any and all steam by pretending to beat things up for two hours, but whatever it is, it's good.
I spent most of the weekend cleaning house, although I did break for a few hours to play WoW, and watch the third Horatio Hornblower movie. Yee! It's rather odd to see Jamie Bamber looking all pale, sickly, and crazy, when I've just recently finished watching a season's worth of Battlestar Galactica, where he's swaggering around looking quite healthy and sane. :)
I missed the tea party, but I guess it's okay. I had a lot to do, and not very much energy to do it.
Oddly enough, I have actually been thinking about that, off and on. Dunno when or if it'll happen, though.
And, I'm off.

Hornblower was an old-school obsession for me, back when I was actually taping things. ;)
