Also, we need to start thinking about Serenity! It's opening reallysoon! Times must be decided upon, and tickets must be acquired! Comment with suggestions, please.
I have hauled a bunch of junk out of my house! Organizing stuff took quite a while on Friday night, so all I really got to do in terms of fun stuff was log on to WoW for a bit. I did rearrange the living room, though, so it's looking better than ever. And, the rugby girls from work were pleased to have the stuff... hopefully they made some good money off of it. :) I'd have felt bad if *somebody* didn't get some use out of those clothes; some of that stuff was almost new, but there's no way I could wear them anymore.
In other news, doing Taiji on Saturday is the best damned idea I ever had. I seem to have a lot of tension problems, and I have a hard time staying as loose and extended as I need to in Taiji. Thing is, when you're training on a weeknight and thinking about the 80 billion things you have to do after class lets out at freaking 8:30, it's a little hard to calm down. When you're starting off your Saturday morning with a Taiji class, however, you have the whole day in front of you! I felt a bit groggy--it *is* still the morning, after all--but ultimately good, and I wasn't stressing out about having to run off the very second we saluted out. Sifu told me afterwards that I'm definitely improving, too. Glee!
The rest of the weekend was mainly devoted to Massive Cleanup of the House, and WoW. I am happy with both.
This week, I must start running my wushu forms hardcore again. We have to demo sometime in the next week or two, so I ought to be ready. Bleh, I haven't practiced nearly enough.
Also, if people don't stop talking about their shiny new iPod Nanos, I may have to light them on fire. IN THE FACE.
...oh, all right, so I won't actually be doing that. But yes, the gadget whore in me is saddened by my own lack of shiny, new, small-and-cute technological thingies. ;p I need a sugar daddy.
