Aw, Scotty died. :(
Taiji went well yesterday. Things are getting to be more instinctual, so I'm actually staying loose, instead of stressing out because my brain is working overtime trying to keep track of everything I should be doing. Heh. :) It's getting to be more fun now that I'm getting used to it.
On a related note, I think my knees are getting better!! :D At Taiji yesterday, it seemed like I could hold the stances longer before I'd start feeling the burning pain just above my knees. I don't know if it's my core or my quads getting stronger, but *something* in my current training regimen must be working. I hope this improvement isn't just a fluke, but I'll just have to keep going and see, I guess... I'll defeat you yet, quadriceps overuse tendinopathy!! ::insert dramatic anime pose here::
Regarding the Supreme Court nomination: I think it was pretty much a guarantee that Shrubby's choice would be appalling for those of us on the moderate-to-left side of things. Yeah, I'm not too wild about it either. But, if you feel compelled to gripe about it, maybe it's time to write to your senators and let them know your feelings on the matter? It may seem a bit futile to some of y'all, given that the GOP has so much control over things, but you can still give yourself a voice.
Anyhoo, not much else is happening. I finally told TiVo to start grabbing episodes of Monk, so I've been watching those over the past few days. I especially love when John Turturro appears as Monk's agoraphobic brother, hee. :D And speaking of TV, the current season of QAF is making me rather grumpy, plot-wise. I'm sure the B/J 'shippers are shouting "neener neener" from the rooftops as we speak. ;ppp
