So just now, I was cutting up some apple wedges for an afternoon snack, and I managed to stab myself in the hand. In that annoying little crevice between two fingers, even. Because I AM AWESOME. ;p

I'm thinking about taking a few days off in August, probably to toddle off to California and see family. I've been thinking for the past couple of years that I would like to do that during the summer, but I never really had the time or the means for it in previous years. Now, I'm thinking that it's time to put up or shut up. Also, airfares are not nearly as astronomical as I'd expected. They're not *great*, granted, but they're not bad.

I feel wildly boring, as of late, which I realize is rather silly. In all honesty, I think it's just the waiting that is getting to me. There are some big changes coming up soon, and I just want to get started on all of it. I have the constant feeling that there is something I should be doing whenever I sit down to relax, and that is no way to be.

ANYHOO! Thoughts on this song: The rampant sampling from video games totally cracks me up, and I love it. But, it also doesn't really sound like the B-DASH that I'm accustomed to. My first thought was that it sounded as if The Mad Capsule Markets and Dandy Sakano had mated with an NES. (and yes, you're probably better off not thinking too hard about that bit of mental imagery)

Don't get me wrong, though, because that's not a bad thing. I like the song! I need to brush up on my Japanese, because I hear the lyrics are pretty fun, too.

6/2: Call cleaning place
6/2: Visit Taiji school
before 6/4: Get stuff ready for Moving Sale
6/4, maybe 6/5: Actually have the Moving Sale
before 6/10: go to photo kiosk at Freddy's
before 6/10: Submit change of address form


Blargh, so busy. If my head explodes, you'll know why.

Oh my god you found the Tongari Kids song. They were on MSte last week doing B-Dash and I nearly shat myself laughing. The Mario backup dancer girls helped, but the "Collecting coins is my hobby! Luigi is mad cause I maybe use Mario too much! Dad, don't change the channel, I'm at the good part! Maybe the princess is a fake!" shit has me thinking I may have to buy the single. It's like the #1 downloaded ringtone right now in Japan..0.o

Yeh, that would be nice!! Thing is, I was doing this at work, and they don't have a paring knife in the kitchen/break room, so I was doing it with a steak knife... ^^;
