too lazy for a quote. :p
May. 30th, 2005 01:56 pmThese are sooooo cute: My Little Ponies as Star Trek: TNG characters! They also totally reminded me of
aniline and
ghost_girl, what with the love of TNG and the Gothic MLPs, and all. :)
So yeah, I survived the weekend. I will skip most of it, but the one highlight was taking J's grandma out to a very small town where they all used to live. We're talking serious farm country, where your nearest neighbor is literally at least a mile away. But, it was a nice drive, and we stopped at several places that were significant to her and to J, so it was actually pretty neat. I haven't been any place quite that rural in quite a long while.
Anyhoo, we got back yesterday evening, and met the man, the myth, the legend, Damnathan! Long story short, Dam is a fun guy that
numfar and
craftyran randomly encountered on WoW, and he eventually got sucked into our guild. He came up to visit for the weekend, so we sat around shooting the breeze for a while, and he was equally fun in person. Yay! My only regret is that I was so effing tired from the weekend that I probably wasn't much fun. But hey, I'm kind of a cranky old broad even when I *am* rested, so whatever. :)
I think this week is the last week of wushu until Fall Term starts at the Uni. ::cry:: I think I am going to visit the Taiji school either tomorrow or Thursday, depending on how busy I get.
Oh yeah, I'm working today. It's a short day, but it beats working four 10-hour days to make up for it. :)
The Big Move begins in earnest next week. Squeeeeee!
