batskeetsAh, another low-keyish weekend.

bookid and I went out early Saturday and hit up some garage sales around town. I didn't find a whole ton of stuff that we'll need for the new place--most of the things I liked at the various sales were things that I already had in some form, like this *gorgeous* set of dishware that I loved but totally didn't need--but I did get a solid table for the dining area, and some nice jars for storing flour, sugar, etc. No more reaching up into the cabinets and coming out with flour all over my arm! I am thinking about refinishing the table, but it looks good enough even if I don't get around to doing so right away.
Saw Episode III again later in the day on Saturday. Still fun. I have decided that the movie would have been even better if they deleted like, every Padme scene. Her scenes had the clumsiest dialogue, and her character just sucks. I'm supposed to believe that this weepy, retiring pregnant lady once had the brass to be queen of an entire planet? Bleh, give me Princess Leia any old time; at least she had some spunk.
Speaking of which, here's a meme!
I watched Napoleon Dynamite on Sunday--it had its moments of awesome, but overall not quite worthy of so much hype--spent a couple hours on some stuff for work, did a couple of quests and a phat stack of mining on WoW, and watched QAF. SEASON 5 SQUEEE :D This is the last season, apparently, so I'm really hoping that they end the show how I'd like it to end, and if they do, I'm also rather curious about how they're going to *get* there from where they are now.
Wushu tonight. Things are going to be hellabusy for the next week or two while I get prepared for summer. I have some moving-related calls to make over the next couple of days, doctor appointment to make, go to the library, go in to check out my prospective Taiji school, etc. So much to do! Aaaauuugh.
