Piiiiiinkeeeyyyyyeee... ::chomp::
May. 10th, 2005 11:04 amSo, yeah, I went and took a *short* nap to rest my poor eyeballs yesterday, and when I woke up, the Serenity screening was sold out. Blargh. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another, though, because these are selling out like crazy!
A simple bit of morning joy that I randomly dreamed up yesterday:
--Measure out some plain oatmeal into a bowl.
--Add unsweetened cocoa powder. (~1 Tbsp. is good for 1/2 cup dry oatmeal)
--Cook per the directions on the oatmeal packaging.
--Add milk and/or sweetener to taste. Yummy! :D
Anyway,
craftyran's BFA opening was yesterday, but I figure that exposing everyone in the place to pinkeye was, well, probably not the best way to say Congratulations. ;p I hope to make it over to the gallery today, though, while I'm out grabbing lunch and so forth.
Speaking of the pinkeye, it is doing a lot better. My eyes are still fairly bloodshot, but the swelling is down, so my eyes are both the same size again! This is *awesome*, because on Sunday, I was kind of looking more like this. :)
Exciting news: the after-hours doctor I saw on Sunday was right up the street from the new apartments, so we stopped in real quick and picked out an apartment--ground floor, 2 bed/2 bath! Weird thing is, I guess they don't run the applications until you're down for a specific apartment? So, we'll be hearing about that in the next day or three, I guess.
Anyhoo, back on task.
